This Child Training Bible does look excellent, especially for those who are new believers. If you have just become a Christian, it would help them get right into using the Bible. And you are right, there is little our there to help us use the KJV with children -- people just assume that it can't be done.
I used the book, Teach Them Diligently, by Lou Priolo, to give me ideas for verses to use with our children. I do also think that our own regular reading of the Bible helps. The Holy Spirit will help us, by bringing to our remembrance the passages we've read.
In theory, we could make our own annotated Bibles and do our own prep work, so to speak. However, this new product will support parents who want some support in doing that.
